How to Set Up World Gate on Smart TVs

For LG WebOS and Samsung Tizen televisions.

Important Note for Smart TVs Because LG and Samsung use their own unique operating systems (WebOS and Tizen), third-party IPTV apps on these platforms generally require activation using a MAC Address and your M3U Playlist URL. Follow the steps below to configure your TV easily.

Open the App Store

Turn on your television and press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to the LG Content Store (on LG TVs) or the Samsung Smart Hub / Apps (on Samsung TVs).

Download a MAC-based Player

Use the search function to find a reliable IPTV player. We recommend searching for any of the following popular applications:

IBO Player DuplexPlay Flix IPTV Smart IPTV

Select your preferred app and click Install.

Locate your Device MAC Address

Open the newly installed app on your television. Upon launching, the main screen will display your TV's unique identifiers. You will need to write these down.

Look for these details on your screen:
Device MAC Address e.g., 00:1A:2B:3C:4D:5E
Device Key (If applicable) e.g., 123456

Upload your M3U Playlist

Leave the app open on your TV. Switch to your smartphone or computer and follow these final steps:

  • Open a web browser and visit the specific app's website (e.g., iboplayer.com).
  • Navigate to the "Manage Playlists" or "Upload" section of the website.
  • Enter your TV's MAC Address (and Device Key if asked).
  • Paste the M3U URL that World Gate Network provided to you in your welcome email into the "Playlist URL" field.
  • Click Save or Upload. Once completed, restart the app on your TV, and your channels will begin loading automatically!

If you are struggling to upload the M3U playlist to your TV's MAC address, simply contact our support team. Provide us with your MAC address, the name of the app you installed, and your World Gate order details, and we will remotely link the playlist for you!
